New Project Leader for Project Healing Waters

Great Bay Tu Member, Dennis Dube, has agreed to assume the position of Project Leader for our chapter's participation in Project Healing Waters. Dennis will assume the post from Jerry Digrezio, who held it for over a year. Project Healing Waters attempts to aid and enrich the lives of recovering veterans, injured in the line of duty, by introducing them to the art of fly fishing. The GBTU Board of Directors would like to than Dennis for assuming this responsibilty. The Board would also like to thank Jerry Digrezio for initiating this effort and serving as its Project Leader for over a year. Anyone interested in contributing some time to this program, or in obtaining further information can contact Dennis at flyfishaholic@myfairpoint.net.

TD Bank Affinity Program

Would you like to support New Hampshire Trout Unlimited, but you just don't have the time? Well now you can!

Join TD Bank's Affinity Program to Benefit New Hampshire Trout Unlimited

Do you, your family or business have an account at TD Bank? If you do, Just call or visit your local TD Bank and ask to be added to the Affinity Program for Trout Unlimited NH Council, and they'll take care of the rest. Raising funds for NH Trout Unlimited does not get any easier than this!

It's a great way to support Trout Unlimited without writing a check!

By joining the Affinity Program, the NH State Council of Trout Unlimited will receive an annual donation from TD Bank simply because you bank there. This donation will help support statewide cold water conservation efforts, youth education programs such as Trout in the Classroom, and other outreach programs. Grants to TU Chapters to support specific local projects are also possible.

There is absolutely no cost to you, and TD Bank will keep all of your information confidential.

Volunteer Hours Reporting Form

Are you volunteering your time on a GBTU project? If so we need you to record your hours and get them into us. GBTU is charged with keeping track of our volunteer hours by our national organization. Those hours translate into large matching in kind funds for federal grants. (See President's Message, February 2010, in our archives). The new form is located for download (.pdf) in the left column of this page. Please print the form and mail it to: GBTU, PO Box 1121, Dover, NH 03824. You may also drop it off at a chapter meeting. The form is also available in Excel format for electronic submission by request to greatb3@greatbaytu.org. Thank you for all your great work.

Special Discount Offer to GBTU Members from the Roundabout Diner

The Roundabout Diner, located at the Portsmouth traffic circle, is offering a 10% discount for members of Great Bay TU who present their membership card at the restaurant when ordering. (This offer only applies to the individual member and not accompanying guests.) The Roundabout Diner generously donated all of the food and drink for our Lamprey River Cleanup this past May. GBTU appreciates the support offered by this new eating establishment on the seacoast and hopes its membership will savor the cuisine there often.
