Stonehouse Pond Conserved!
It took over 4 years, but Kevin McEneaney, President of the Strafford Rivers Conservancy,
announced at our Fly Auction that earlier on that day deeds and contracts were signed that will
protect about 240 acres of land surrounding Stonehouse Pond forever by placing it into
conservation! The Strafford River Conservancy will take ownership of that land, while NH Fish
& Game will control the access to Stonehouse Pond. Great news for those of us who love to fish
at one of the most beautiful spots in NH!
